up or down

I guess it's time to face up and show you some little knitting that has been going on slowly during the downtime of the holidays. Well, not exactly all knit up,  but rather finished during this time. This second Baktus Scarf   was started while on my trip to Denmark, then got shoved away for months before I had the nerve to pick it up again.

It has been worn dressed up or down many times already as it perfectly goes with my nice brown coat or my recently finished Lillian sweater. To be honest, knitting garter stitch proved to be very relaxing particularly now, when I just don't quite feel like knitting any big project. Ever feel like that sometimes?

Oh, those felted sweaters are really getting me wound up with creating more handmade stuff for the holidays. The wreath is all done and hung up on the front door and it looks lovely. Tonight, we will be decorating our tree over some warm cozy fireplace and hot cider. 

We also had our first snow a couple days ago and I have my fingers crossed hoping that it will snow over Christmas. Just hoping really, for a white christmas.

a little joy

I am hibernating a little for the time being. 

We are also slowly decorating our home with some handmade items, just to add a little joy to the season. 

Also, am currently working on my photoblog, trying to decide what platform to use because I have plans to put a little more focus on photography this coming year. Lots of indecisiveness there, but, hopefully I'll find the best solution that works for me soon.
